Traveling to Makkum

Car / bus
Coming through Sneek or via the afsluit dam: On the A7, exit Witmarsum / Makkum. Makkum driving direction. In Makkum: 1st roundabout turn left, 2nd roundabout. You‘re the Workumer Dijk and therein lies the ship in port (Workumerwijk is also the address for the TomTom).

Public transport

By train to Sneek. Sneek with bus 98 to Makkum. Makkum get off at the stop Ds. Touwenlaan. Five minutes walk to the harbor.

The Interliner over the afsluit dam. Change at Afsluitdijk stop on bus 96 to Makkum. Makkum off at stop Botter Street. Six minutes walk to the harbor.

Traveling to Harlingen

Car / bus
From the A7 from the direction Bolsward and afsluit dam: Exit Harlingen / Leeuwarden. Kimswerd exit on the N31, at the roundabout take 3rd exit, turn right at the dike. Along the dike keep driving until the first pilots on the left. At the back of these pilots is between all other ships the Zwarte Valk.

Public transport

By train from Leeuwarden:
From platform 2 the train to Harlingen.

The Interliner over the afsluit dam. Change at stop Afsluitdijk Q-liner 351 towards Harlingen.
